Chiswick Timeline And A History Of Stamford Brook
5 Answers
I'm looking for copies of the above 2 books - now out of print and not available. The latter was written by Reginald Chapman some 30 years ago. Have looked at all the obvious places but no luck so far. Can anyone recommend any bookshops which sell local history books that may not be found on the internet?

I can't find the book about Stamford Brook anywhere, I found this information: https:/ /www.st amfordb rook.or g.uk/in dex.php /2016-0 5-11-17 -51-54/ history -of-the -area & https:/ /www.lo ndonslo striver s.com/s tamford -brook. html but there is no mention of the book.
I search for books as part of a voluntary job and I have looked in all my usual places: British Library, eBay, Abe Books, Bookfinder, Google and a few that I have forgotten already.
Have you tried the local library?
There are AB people who are much better at finding something than I am. Hopefully, someone will be able to help.

Here is another link. Go to page 45, which says at the end it is being re-printed and will be available from chiswicktimeline.org
