If any of you readers out there need a very good read then I would suggest "The Salt Path" by Raynor Winn. A true account of a couple's problems when thay are made homeless. Part is heart rending some is tear jerking but on the whole a damn good read.

I read that a while ago on the recommendation of a friend. It was often upsetting and difficult to read. However, they got there in the end.

I've just put a reserve on it at my local library - a service which used to be free but which now costs £1.20 = 20% of Amazon Kindle price. Just saying 😊

Our Mobile Library service doesn't charge anything for a 'reserve' , canary.  Mind you, it is a  once a month bus (due tomorrow) and I intend to reserve a book - maybe it's because the service is so infrequent that they don't dare charge us!
