I taught for a few years back in the early nineties and am trying to remember a reading scheme in which a mysterious and magical black cat appeared. I think the cat could become invisible.
Can anyone tell me the title?

Hi jno. As always I'm in two minds about these matters. It is possible that I over react to swearing generally, because my daughters seem less fazed about it than me. However, I don't want their language to deteriorate to the stage where they feel bad language is acceptable in every day usage.
As for 'suspect' names on site, I think they notice anything with 'ginger', 'red', 'titian' or 'freckles' because of their own colouring. Whether they would notice words outside these parameters is debatable.
The girls got a kitten for Christmas and have been far less interested in Answerbank since then. Philistines!!!
