When I was at school, a story was read to us with the phrase `....split you from your gaggle to your zatch .' Does anyone know what story or book it comes from? Many thanks.

I think it comes from the Sherry Tepper books but can't say which one

The book that this quote comes from is called "The 13 clocks" by James Thurber and was often sold with a second story called "The marvelous O" absolutly brilliant book I can't remember the publisher
