I have been given a set of encyclopaedia britannica which is in mint condition and was published in 1926. Any idea of the value?

Not that it tells you the full value, but there are a couple of sets on ebay, one starting at twenty pounds, the other at fifty, what they'll bring at the end is anybodies guess.
woo hoo nice one steve, hope thats the one you have :-)
ebay is the best bet ive had a look for u and they are sets going up 2 mabout 50.00 so good luck steve
You obviously didnt click on my link frankialice!
50 quid?
Forget about it!
....and the rest!

Hmm

That link refers to the "Delux issue" and was "maroon half morocco over red buckram"

There was a set recently sold on Ebay in green leather for 650 Euro.

Guess there's a bit of deviation based on the edition and bindings.

Remember too these are retail prices not necessarily what you'd get selling to a dealer as he needs to turn a profit himself

I'll give you fifty quid for it!
