Is a bouquet of roses expected more for the leading ladies?

Yes, roses for the leading lady. If you're buying for all the girls you could get each of them a posy of flowers or three or four very posh chocs each or (and they'd love this) something for each of them that you've made yourself - perhaps something referring to the show in some way. The more inventive you are with whatever you give them, the more it'll be appreciated. There's no 'traditional' gift, really - it's up to you.
