I just watched "Fear and Loathing in Las Vega" again, what a great film! and am thinking about reading some Hunter S Thompson. Can anyone suggest which book of his I should read first?

Why not "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas"? It must be his best known for a reason.
'The man who crossed the road'. It's about a ruthless stalker. Excellent.
Any of his. He was a fantastic writer: I like some of the collections of shorter pieces myself.

BTW, although I love FALILV as a book, I thought the film was awful. If you liked the film, I reckon you'll love the book.
