Looking for a books title

I read a book years ago and can't for the life of me remember what it was called or who wrote it. All I can remember is that it was about a cult that got their claws into some young kids and their families trying to get them away from it. Does anyone know what it is? I know theres not much to go on. Thanks.

How about Bless the Child by Cathy Cash Spellman? It is a terrific book.

Not "The Wave" by Morton Rhue, is it? I remember someone asked a similar question ages ago, and that was the book they were looking for.
