Years ago my daughter had a poem called 'I wouldn't thank you for a valentine'. Anyone heard of it? I've no idea who it was by.

Carol Ann Duffy. Feminist stuff taught at secondry school.
It was written by a Scottish feminist poet called Liz Lochhead. There is a poem just called 'Valentine' by Carol Ann Duffy, Rabelais.

You can buy this poem in a compilation of poems edited by Carol Ann Duffy from Amazon.com. Here is the link http://tinyurl.co.uk/p9vz

This Amazon enables you to turn the page to find the poem of your choice. It's on page 62, I think.
Quite right it was by yet another glaswegian feminist poet, who would have thought there were so many of them. The Carol Ann Duffy collection is the secondry text.

Rabelais - 'feminist' stuff!? How? It's written by women but how does that make it 'feminist'?
