Who wrote a series about a woman who helps people disappear (like a freelance witness protection program)? She is from a New York Indian tribe. I read two or three in the series and hope there are more.

Only because I have read a couple of them them myself !!
I thought they were quite good.I always keep an eye on Fantastic Fiction anyway to see what is the latest in my gore fest / murder mystery / thriller.. fetish!
