Hi again everyone - Looks like you're doing okay! Supernatural 4 - Azaro in The Famished Road by Ben Okri
Also - Could Quarrels 4 by Michael Henchard in Mayor of Castorbridge (The manager is Farfrae)
I think you may be right about Farfrae.

I think cars 1 is Alice Aisgill in Room at the Top but I don't have a copy to confirm it.
Could Cars 5 be Remains of the Day by Ishiguro?
Doctors 2 Could be Eduardo PLarr (The Honorary Consul)
Well done LG123 - it is Ishiguro. I've just checked.
I'm fairly sure it's not the honarary consul as he gets shot by mistake in the end and I do not think there's a revolution
Hi again all. I am about a week behind, having forgotten about this annual brain melting exercise...

Anyway answers I dug up/confirmations:

Monarchs 4: Alice from Through the Looking Glass

Supernatural 2: The Green Knight (real name Lord Bertilak de Hautdesert) from Gawain and the Green Knight

Theatre 4: Dora and Nora (From Angela Carter's 'Wise Children')

Clergymen 4: Friar John (feuds with The Summoner in Geoffrey Chaucer's Canterbury Tales)

Clergymen 5: Pastor Finch (not Pastor Spratt as someone suggested?) From Oranges aren't the only fruit. To quote:
"The Lord is working mightily,' puffed Pastor Finch, smacking the bongos with his ..."

Erm.. Now i'm doing it to myself.

Clergyman 4: Friar Hubert (not friar John who is a character in the Summoners Tale)
More:

Monarchs 3: I confirm is Robert Merivel
Monarchs 5: Becky Sharpe in Vanity Fair
Doctors 5 : Dr Moreau (operates on a puma which escapes)

possible:
Doctors 2: Is this from Nostromo by Conrad???
Think I've got one - Cemeteries 5 (Lady from Louisiana) - Mrs Witt in St Mawr, by D H Lawrence.
Doctors 2 /Dr Monygham,Nostromo /Conrad

I read the passage,in the book.
Quarrels 2: Someone suggested the assassins in Julius Caesar. It is indeed Brutus and Cassius arguing the toss at the beginning of Act IV Scene III.
I've found a possible reference for Cars 3 (Toyota driven by Politician). Possibly its Black Water by Joyce Carol Oates, if anyone has more info on this book.
Are you sure about Doctors 4. Midnights children there is also Dr Omar K hayyan Shakil (Rushtie} in Shame who examines his patient in this way?
'Aadam examines her by moving the white perforated sheet to the affected area.'

This is a quote from Googling - the key word must be 'perforated' and therefore, yes, it must be Midnight's Children.
To help I have created a webpage with a table of suggestions and answers so far . This will help to highlight missing ones and it is a help to see all answers at a glance:

I will endeavor to keep it current with our efforts
Well done greatsage, excellent and very helpful table! One thing to add - I think Jobs 2 is Constance & Sophia in The Old Wives' Tale by Arnold Bennett.
Supernatural 3/

Just an idea? Kate leslie,The Plumed Serpent.
DH Lawrence

She's Irish, certainly "bewitched", but i don;t know
about "intruder".
It would be a further DH Lawrence question, but given their
predilection, still possible.
Tautau, re your 'Plumed Serpent' suggestion. I'm not sure an Irish person be described as being 'North Country'.
