One Million Masterpiece

Have you seen this? http://www.theonemillionmasterpiece.com
It's a global artistic collaboration project to raise money for charity, but it's really quite interesting from an artistic point of view. You buy a square and submit your drawing (using their very basic drawing tool). It's quite hard to come up with a masterpiece but it's fun trying! The interesting thing is that you can play back an animation of peoples' drawings so you can learn how they achieved their picture. Quite fascinating. I've had a go - have any other ABers?

There's one called Prism on the far left (immediately to the right of the furthest left square). That's a cool pic and good to watch come to life.
Mine's called Leo (the kitten), currently on the far left and up a bit (if you can find it). What's yours?

Thanks for that. There's one on the far right side of a ship that I had to watch come to life as I couldn't believe it was done by hand with such basic tools!
Yours is brilliant by the way. Really really good. I'm almost embarrassed to tell you which one mine is! It's called Mother Love and it's completely south-west at the moment. From a distance it looks like a heart with dots around it.
Can't believe what a lovely way to make money for charity this is. x

Wow! Never heard of this, what a brilliant thing to do I am going to register tomorrow - won't have time today. Some fantastic pics on there.
I saw one by "Joel" and on profile it said "Radio 1 DJ", so I am assuming he is one half of JK and Joel?
Really really impressed, I am going to tell anyone who wil listen about this site! Thanks ;-)

Wow, I love yours too! I saw the Mother Love one yesterday and really liked it - very thought provoking and rather cleverly done too. Can't fail to like your Be Happy one, divegirl - it's like a breath of fresh air :-)
It's funny, I kinda charged into it thinking "ooh good, I can do a nice picture" without really thinking about the context in which it's sitting. Afterwards, I looked at lots of others and read what people have put on the forum but decided that I am happy with my kitten. He's representing the animals of this world and is a huge part of my life at the moment, so it's a snapshot in time for me too.
So glad you've joined in. Tell everyone!!
