Which do I watch first in the Macross anime series...?

I was wondering which series of Macross to watch first in terms of them making sense and when they were made etc.

They are Macross Plus 4xOVAs and also Macross TV "Superdimensional Space Fortress Macross"

Sorry - that should be Macross Plus 4xOVAs and also Macross Zero 5xOVAS.

Anime info will give you an order of the timeline just do a search for macross and it will give you the years each series or film were made
