Anyone remember the old 70's tv programme Adam Adamant with the Victorian hero who was frozen in a block of ice?? We're trying to remember the catch phrase that was said at the beginning of the programme...'So -------- but oh so vulnerable' driven us mad all holiday. Thanks.

There are loads of sites featuring Adam Adamant,I had a look and couldn't see a catchphrase, but I thought you might be interested in the lyrics of theme song.

Bold as a knight in white armour
Cold as a shot from a gun
If you should look
For a man who loves danger
To whom love is a stranger
This man is the one

There is a box set availablle on DVD which might have the answer.
"So clever... but oh so vulnerable"
I think it was: - "up and Adam Adamant!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I also remember AA's repeated languid reproof of 'Oh my dear Miss Jones...' ( long before Rigsby) to the gorgeous Juliet Harmer, who made a gigantic impression on me at my age - '''Zonk!!' indeed...
I appreciated the Atom Ant gag Ratter, if no-one else did!
