Outlets for Handmade Cards
7 Answers
I have been making Handmade Greetings Cards for a hobby and have had generally favourable reaction from family and friends. I was thinking about selling them .
Has anyone had experience of selling their own cards? I would certainly value any advice as to outlets for Selling.

I do sell to family and friends and people who have bought from me at sales now phone me with special orders. You can approach shops to see if they would be interested in stocking them, I have been approached by a book shop wanting to stock my cards, also your hairdressers may be willing to have a box on the desk which you could change every so often.
If you want to sell on the net check this site out http://www.crafterweb.co.uk/ he is a very genuine guy and will do nearly everything for you including getting you listed with Google, He hosts my site and is very good at what he does. this is my site take a look http://www.metalartist.co.uk/ if you do contact him mention my name : Ian or metalartist to him lol
Obviously I don't know where you are, but locally to me there is a group that get together to sell their cards. Most people don't have the time to produce tons of cards so a group like this could be good for you. Check local ads--there might be one near you. I live near Peterborough, so if I can help I would be glad to.
