Can anyone please tell me where in the Bible it says that it is a sin to lie?

There are many references to lying throughout the bible, but the one that kettledrum has given you is from Exodus chapter 20. This is Moses receiving the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai.

I have just looked it up and it appears to be Exodus cahpter 20 verse 16 in one version and Exodus chapter 20 verse 13 in another, I'm sorry Cetti, am i appearing a bit dim, can you confirm what reference I should use to tell others.

I know what you mean about different Bibles, but the meaning is the same, so don't worry - you are certainly not dim!

The Bible I use is the NIV as it's the easiest to understand and the reference is Chapter 20 verse 16.

The car is the Accord.
