Does anyone know the rate of Family Allowance for the second child when it was introduced first

I only know that I got eight shillings a week when my second son was born in May 1952

I remember receiving five shillings on a Tuesday when my second child was born in January 1952. It may have gone up to 8 shillings after the Budget (or whatever it was called in those far off days ! ) in April ,end of the Tax year .
