i have just started a book group with my friends and we are merrily reading our first book which we will soon meet to discuss. Does anyone have any questions that we can answer about the books we read to get our discussions rolling?

With respect, fluffynurse, I don't see how anyone can suggest questions about the book your group is reading, without having read the book or even knowing what it is. However, there are a number of websites that suggest questions for reading groups, covering a range of books - to find them, put the words "READING GROUPS" QUESTIONS into the Google search engine. Alternatively, do a Google search on the actual book you are reading, and you may find some questions for that actual book.
