Can I fuse paper within glass, or trap paper within two pieces of fused glass?

yes you can.I am doing a degree in fused glass. There is a type of felt that is used to put on the kiln shelf to stop the glass sticking. Fibre paper can be cut and placed between 2 pieces of glass. use a little pva glue (this burns off way before the glass fuses), it stops it all slipping !!
