In this play is he attempting to deconstruct the stereotypes and false perceptions we have of different cultures, or is he trying to point out the flaws that exist in each of the two cultures???

Mr. Soyinka is definitely trying to point out the flaws that exist in each of the two cultures, thereby pointing out the flaws that exist in ALL cultures, especially once any two or more cultures clash.
