It was the school in the village where he lived. I'm not sure that either school or village were ever named in the books.
Merthyr Imp is correct. The school and the village are not named in the William books, although the nearby village of Hadley is. As William attends the local grammar school, it's a fair bet that he goes to Hadley Grammar School for Boys.

BTW, according to Mary Cadogan's William Companion, the fictional village is situated roughly in the Bicester region of Oxfordshire.
