smack the pony dance sketch

Does anyone know who or what this is: I happened upon a bbc2 programe about modern dance late one night about 1997maybe early 00's...and all these women where dancing about a warehouse/loft with chairs and rhythmic stomping going on...then a few years later i saw a smack the pony sketch where they took the mickey out of the 'routine'..any clues? Anyone??

Could have been "Stomp" I remember them being on every programme at that time, including Blue Peter.
