Does anyone remember the cheap plaster figurines etc that could be won at fairgrounds in the 60,s anyone collect them

Oh I do, I was fascinated with them. We lived down the road from "sideshow" people when I was very young and I often used to visit the chap who made those figurines, he gave me rejects for hopscotch.
I won a horrible plaster tortoise with red eyes at a fair in Paignton. Alas it is no longer, but its memory lives on.....
