I enjoy reading books by John Grisham . Could someone out there point me to other authors who write in the same genre? Thank you in advance.

Have you read his two non-legal books? Bleachers, and The Painted House. Both very good.

Try Patrick Redmond.
Some you might like.....
Nancy Taylor Rosenberg
Brad Meltzer
Richard North Patterson
Alafair Burke
Peri O 'Shaughnessey.
Natasha Cooper
have a look at this page which maps authors who write in a similar style: http://www.literature-map.com/john+grisham.htm l
Major authors of this genre include Scott Turow, Lisa Scottoline, Sheldon Siegel, Richard North Patterson, James Grippando, Steve Martini, Bill Blum, Nancy Taylor Rosenberg and Brad Meltzer.

If it is the legal thriller/courtroom battle theme you like then these are your best bet. If you want to be a little more adventurous (and UK/Olde Worlde based), then why not give CJ Sansoms Matthew Shardlake series a go (Dissolution, Dark Fire, and Sovereign). I enjoyed those immensely, but thats my opinion.
Michael Connolly and Jilliane Hoffmann are both good
I have to agree with Octavius there. I had quite forgotten about the hunchback lawyer Shardlake .I have read Dissolution which was really good and now have the other two,Dark Fire and Sovereign in my pile of books to read .A 16th century lawyer !
His novel Winter in Madrid is riveting although it's not a courtroom drama ..all to do with the Spanish Civil War and well worth a read .

Many thanks ,everyone , and thanks for the link, pingping.
I've also just finished reading Sovereign by CJ Sansom - and can agree with Octavius and shaneystar that they are well worth a read.
Definitely Michael Connelly "The Lincoln Lawyer". Not all his books have a courtroom setting but this one's excellent.
