Is j.k. almost done with the 6th Harry Potter book?

Sorry smartdog, but I don't think that is possible because if you remember Sirus's family taprestry ( I know I spelt that wrong ) Malfoy's mother was on it under a totally magical family. If see was muggle she would have been blown off by Sirus's mother.

I think the book will come out next summer, of course, I have no idea. As for who the HBP is here's my idea. I think it's Justin Finch-Flechley. He was going to go to Eton, but his mother thought it would be better to have a *fully* trained wizard in the family. The key word here is fully. He must have another wizard in the family, if his mother wanted a fully trained one, thus making him a half blood. She must have been a muggle, if she had to read Lockharts books before she would let him go to Hogwarts.

i think that the HBP is colin creevy. the annoying little kid that follows harry around in the 2 book. i donno. it's just a thought. and i think the 6th book won't be coming out for a while. it's not like JKR can just put a few words together and call it a book. at the very least maybe in the fall of 2005. byez for now luv ya ::muah::

JKR said the 6th book will be much shorter than the 5th, so it shouldn't take that much longer i think

I went to a book store and they said that the sixth book is supposed to be out in the next 6 months, I don't think this is true. I believe that the Half blood prince is Dean Thomas because on JK's website it says that his father was a wizard and his mother was a witch. It also states that he was supposed to be involved more in the Chamber of Secrets.

when I first heard the title for the 6th book, I thought the HBP would be someone new, someone we haven't met. But now I think that it could possibly be Neville- he's not a half blood, but I still think it's a good idea and maybe that's not the way "half blood"is meant. Colin Creevy is a good idea but I don't think that's it. I can't believe it's only going to be 200!

I believe that the 'HBP' will be Dudley Dursley because in Order of the phoenix they say how harry has to stay there coz petunia carries the blood of lily, so it could be dudley?

I think that JK is going to surprize us all. I honestly don't think she would make it easy for us to guess. For example, some of you think it is Voldermort. On her site, she said it has nothing to do with Harry nor Voldermort. Another, said it was Hagred. hmmm that is a possability. I think it will be a surprise for us all. Perhaps pne f the more 'Normal" character that we do not hear of very often

200 pages!?!?! REALLY?!?!? I can't believe that it's only gonna be 200 pages! Hopefully, that will mean that the book will come out very soon. As for the HBP theories, since the book is so short the HBP is probably a character that has already been introduced, cuz Rowling doesn't have enough pages to make a whole new character. My guess is Tom Marvolo Riddle, Hagrid, Gryffindor, or Dumbledore. And I don't think it could be Justin Fletch-Finchery or Colin Creevey because they were attacked in the CoS which means they were mudblood, cuz no halfblood was attacked, and Rowling has ruled out all possible theories on Mark Evans.

I think it could be Hagrid. And, like everyone else is asking, why Hagrid was in Knockturn Alley? It has to do with something in one of the books.

I hope it comes out soon, but I don't expect it too. Because where i live, which is the wonderful state of PA, we could pre-order it at bookstores like 4-5 months before it actually came out. They would have advertised it by now if it was coming out in the next 4 months.

where on jkrowling.com did u find out that HBP will be only 200 pages long dark lillian. i think it will be released june next year. also my dad says that when she has finished all 7 books she plans th rewrite them. i hope she does.
