Can anyone give me examples of Gothic literature? Not much help from Google...

Probably the most famous writing in the genre' is by Percy Byshe Shelley's wife Mary... Frankenstein ( full title is Frankenstein or the Modern Prometheus) written in 1831, I think...
I think the 'Gormenghast' trilogy by Mervyn Peake would count as gothic.

and also something like Zanussi ?

Both Gothick novels and both unreadable

Z was made into a tv series - and Jesus was one of the few adaptations wh didnt make me want to read the book !
