Does anyone know of the example letter/paragraph that used ordinary words that are either pronounced the same but spelt differently or vice versa by I think it was GBS. I saw it so many years ago and can't find any reference to it that I'm wondering whether I imagined it now!
Jno's correct. Strange to relate, a friend had one of those handheld computer dictionary thingys, and if you typed in 'ghoti', it came up with 'fish'! So some firmware designers do have a sense of humour!

My Mother commented , better not let you read this - [hold it she didnt read Eagle but DID read Readers Digest] -in case, it wrecks your spelling !
