Spring poem/song

There is never a time so sweet as in spring, the spring of the year, when daisies grow at your feet and daffodils appear. And celandines and cuckoo flowers............. Does anyone recognise this which I learned as a song at primary school? The words above are all that I remember. It was a long time ago!
