memory of a children's book

When I was little I had these books, they were about 5x5 in size and there was a series of them. They were about these different bugs and they had these great illustrations. I remember one was about a girl bug and one of the illustrations was of her putting on lipstick, maybe she was a spider or ladybug. Another one was of a humbug. I am really trying to remember what they are. Any help would be great.
