Literary Features - word needed
4 Answers
Hi,
I'm doing a critical analysis essay on an extract from The Idea of Perfection by Kate Grenville. Does anybody know the term used to describe the literary feature by which an adjective describes a word which is not normaly associated with.
For example:
"a big quiet light"
"a band of sun cast a slice of black shadow"
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
