[Another Dave]

Sci Fi Novel: a robot, who's has a rare empathy with humans, rushes to rescue a human brain that 's running a factory. The brain once belonged to a man who had his head cryogenically frozen. I read this book yonks ago, can't remember author/title. Please help!

Sounds like one of Asimov's, from the Foundation series. Did you know that Al'Qaida means Foundation and that Bin Laden is a big Asimov fan ? Curiouser and curiouser.
