My mother learned this peom in svhool in the 30;s it starts Trot Mare Trot and is about not having a shilling to go through Billings gate wandered if any one knows this or where i might find it

I might be completely mistaken but I think that's a nursery rhyme? Have you tried Opie's Oxford Book of Nursery Rhymes?
