anyone know of any short stories that can be found on the web that would be suitable for telling to children between the ages of 3-7?

I'd honestly say, using real books with pictures would be much better. But that's not helpful as the library will be shut now!
Try this link - gives 'things to do' rather than simply passive reading:

thankyou, love using books but we've been asked to build up a collection of stories to tell i.e. without the words there in front of is, using props, puppets etc instead, have already got traditional fairytales and aesops fables in mind, was wondering if theres like a bank of other myths and fables suitable for children on the web. thanks for the site though!
How about these?
