anyone know of any poetry competitions to enter? oes that dont involve a 50 pound fee and tells you youve won and get to guy your certificate:)

Hi Annyct,

i myself write poetry and i recommend going to www.poetry.com. There is no initial fee to join in and they hold competitions every month for the best poem.

FIRST TIME magazine will print poems without cost.. send a
self addressed envelope so you can get a reply.. after they published me they sent me info on money-winning competitions!

send some work and a cover letter asking for the editor, Ms Austin's time to:

which is regularly (or nearly so) updated. The comps do have entry fees, but usually starting from �3 or so.
