Name of Artist

Hi,

I know it's a bit of a long shot but does anyone know the name of the artist who sort of tricks you eye with the painting. Fox example the one with the waterfall that goes round in a circle. And also the pillars that go into each other. There was a car advert that copied the idea a few months ago. Please help i know it's a rubish description, sorry.

mc escher, he spelt his name with lower case letters if I remember rightly.
