I loved the Alchemist and Eleven Minutes but the Warrior of the Light did not appeal to me at all..

I just wondered what anyone else thinks of his work..

I tried the Alchemist and it just made me angry, reminded me of a 6th form prose piece, very self indulgent. My girlfriend likes him though and she did an Eng Lit degree so I'm probably wrong. Can't stand the navel-gazing, self conscious style of it though sorry.
I only read The Alchemist and found it boring.
I've read a couple of his books and really liked them.
I have only read The Alchemist. The book had a nice message but it was too cliched. I think it's better when the meaning unfolds for itself because of the depth of the plot, but this was a very simplistic book, very superficial.
