Is the paperback version due out on August 4th? I thought I read it somewhere but it doesn't mention it on Amazon.

I suspect that you might have got mixed up with the export edition, which was published on 4 August 2008:

Given that the original hardback edition is now available for a paperback price

I've just checked with Nielsen Bookdata, the industry oracle. The only paperback edition likely to be available in this country is given a publication date of December 2019. I don't think this is absolute. They usually give a date like this when they're unsure as to exactly when the edition is published, so they give an impossibly futuristic date for database purposes.

Sorry, quizzywig, you're either going to have to develop more arm muscles or get yourself the audio version.

my mate actually texted me to say she saw the paperback in the airport....not sure which airport as she is cabin crew but its out there!!
