Could it be 1776?
A great answer but I can't see any reference to that happening. I thought of Annie as it has the prez in it, but I don't think so.

is Musical Perfomances at The White House, from the White House History Org.
The only performance I can see that might be called a musical is in 1988,when the cast of "A Chorus Line" performed for Ronald Regan.
However, have a look and decide for yoursel?

Of course the question says "Broadway show" not musical so it may not be a musical.

I also searched for the answer yesterday but could not find anything.

There is a small theatre in the East wing of the White House but the White House web site gave no answer.

I also found a threate called "The White House" in the USA, so it could be a trick question, But no details of a broadway play being premiered at that theatre either.
