Florence Nightingale quotation

I have recently read somewhere a qoutation by Florence Nightingale to the effect that you should not ask "how can I do this right thing" but "how can I cause this right thing to be done whether I am here or not"

I can't finfd the exact quote again or its source and would be grateful for help finding it

The quote is as follows:

"....let whoever is in charge keep this simple question in her head (not, how can I always do this right thing myself, but) how can I provide for this right thing to be always done?"

It comes from a book written by Florence Nightingale in 1860 called "Notes on Nursing: what it is and what it is not." London: Harrison, 1860.[St. Thomas's Medical Collection S2 b.7.]
