I now have one and prior to this I used to buy a lot of books, especially the special offers
In WH Smith where the books are half price. My gripe is, if you were to download these special offers to your ereader
the cost is more than half price which I think is unfair.
It is enough to make you take up reading proper books again.
I would never have bought one of these for myself but my sister bought me an e-reader for my birthday some years ago. I pick up lots of stuff ffrom Gutenberg and appreciate the opportunity to read loads of classics. It also means I have a lot of books by my bedside without taking up a lot of room. Biggest problem, I find, is that with a real book I can give it to my wife or a friend when I'm finished with it but with an ebook I have to give them the reader as well.
