Artists using masks

I'm looking for any sort of artist that uses masks.  I have a titile called reveal and conceal and want to look in to the ways that people hide themselves, maybe from scars or hide their real skin under tattoos. if anyone has any ideas or any input of their own, that would really help!thanks xx

You might consider checking out the work of Dave McKean. Principally known for his work in the comics industry, he released a extensive collection of his covers for Neil Gaiman's superb Sandman series.
