No - there really is NO need to spend a lot of money. Research the items you are interested in and then buy them on line. I have bought Elizabeth Arden Moisturisers on line for a quarter of the price you would pay in Debenhams. I never buy cosmetics or Face Creams from a shop any more. Just type in Google 'best prices for ????' and you should get some real bargain websites
I also would never by cosmetics from a Dept store, always buy online, much cheaper.
amazon is great for cheap cosmetics - but beware of fakes and read the comments before buying. rimmel make up is good, garnier do great skin care and i also use no7 at boots for the occasional luxury item as they are good quality (i.e. primer £11). watch a lady called emily noel on you tube for tips, tricks and how to buy and choose cosmetics. sorted! x
btw....my last lipstick was £1.79 and foundation £2.99 off amazon and i love it!!!! am wearing it for the first time in my life at 35 and feel great. i wish i'd done it sooner.
