I suffer from oily skin and this isn't helped with the creams, lotions and positions i've used as do sweat quite easily so whenever i wash my face the cream i've used blocks my pores then i start sweating and my face looks like an oily mess as the cream in my pores is pushed back out onto the skin surface. This has really messed with my self confidence. Is there a non greasy cream or oil which is quickly absorbed and lets skin breathe, preferably cheap? Also maybe my soap might be to blame as i've noticed when i use shield this strips my natural oil and so the body pumps out even more to lubricate the skin and when i use dove this happens less.

It's going to sound odd but I use Savlon to moisturise my face, like the antiseptic cream you get to put on cuts and stuff, I had a lot of spots with normal face creams and savlon helped clear them up so now I have far fewer and my face isn't so greasy anymore.
Hope this helps
I've got oily skin and never found any good creams but I do always keep a couple of packets of blotting paper in my handbag. They soak up the oil and have a very fine powder on them to help give a Matt look. They are a god send. I get them from the body shop but I know a few people who just use rizla papers.
I use Swarfega with a bit of sugar mixed in, gets the oil right off!
have you thought about what oils/sugars you eat? for me, any greasy or sugary food comes right out in my skin the next day!
treat yourself to an aloe vera plant.its miraculous with a variety of skin conditions!
