Using Thinning Scissors.

My hair is almost shoulder length(am in the process of growing it) and had it trimmed the other day,but I notice one piece at the side looks too blunt- cut,I have it slighty thinned out at the ends.I am quite proficient regards to doing my hair etc.Have some thinning scissors,can I use them to take away the bluntness on this piece of hair?Don`t want to go to the hairdressers just for that.

Point cutting rather than thinning scissors. Your stylist should put it right for free.
