Well it's a bit chillier this morning isn't it! Think those few gorgeous days have spoilt us lol. Still dry and hazy but definitely much cooler. Later on today I'm dropping my iPad off to be repaired, for the first time ever. I've had it for about 5 years, and apart from needing new charging cables and the usual software updates I've been incredibly lucky with it, but 2 days ago the on/off button decided to permanently stay on. In other words, the teeny mechanism behind the button that lets you click it on & off has died a death whilst being turned on, so not only can't I turn it off but it's also the same button that I use for god knows how many times a day to take screenshots along with another button. So it has to be sent away. All my work, games, everything is on it so I will feel like a lost puppy without it lol!!
So apart from that I have the excitement of work, housework & the bin men coming round this morning lol.

Morning, dreary here, seems we have seen the last of our good weather for a while. Need to stay in today, Evri are coming to pick up a parcel to return to M&S, I can't believe I ordered a chair for our entrance hall and they sent a coffee table.

Mr U has gone to surgery for a barrage of blood tests, fortunately, the two types of bowel tests were ok, though he is tons better than he was, he's still getting terrible exhaustion which they seem worried about.

Hope the Ipad comes back quickly, do you have an alternative to work on in the meantime?.

M & S used to be fault -free, but the last 3 orders I've had from them have been a pain. First one was a week last and only arrived in the nick of time, despite me paying for n t day delivery. 2nd one I again paid for nxt day and was 3 days late. And 3 rd one was a pair of trainers, and upon opening them you could see that the lace on the right trainer was completely shredded as though it had been mangled, and was just about to snap in half!

I don't actually have another computer or screen to use, unless I ask MrSmow to lend me one, but by the time I've set it up etc......

Good morning Smow and all. Taking the car into the garage today and hopefully they will fix the boot so I can lock it. It has been a pain to worry about it when I go anywhere and leave it, also reversing up a slope to the house so it cannot be opened overnight. It's a very odd angle and reversing is not my forte!

Weather here is reasonable so I might venture out into the garden, but I can see from the lounge window that many things have died from being so water logged. At least the garden waste collection has started again, and I can start clearing.
