Just had some overseas relatives staying and one day they went to Tony& Guy for a haircut. They were given a little card with services and prices on there and they asked me what a shoe shine would be. Now I thought it was what it said, but they charge 30-35 for it. What is a shoe shine in a hairdressers? And it's only for men as well

Really?????

I would never have guessed that
yeah thats right. it's usually done when the hair is cut short and spikey through the back and colour is applied just to the ends.. had it done at toni and guy myself once and it looked wicked. But because they only apply to the ends when u have ur hair cut the next time round it all gets cut out! therefore i would suggest goin to a regular salon which will prob charge 20quid and do just a good a job :)
Oh yeuch! Is this con trick what was called "Dollar Tips" back in the 80s? Sounds like history repeating at a higher price.
