can u cut your own hair?

My money has been stopped and i need a haircut desperately,i need about an inch off Any one ever cut own hair(not just fringe)........?.

yes quite a few times actually, i did a choppy bob style thing and coloured it myself so it was blonde on top and purple underneath!
just go for it! or maybe if you do it and it goes slightly wonky you could get one of your friends to even it up a bit, im sure they'll help with it being xmas!! x

Yes, I have always cut my own hair and only go to the hairdressers about three times a year for highlights.

You do need the right tools though, a good pair of proper scissors and comb are essential, plus having a good eye - and knowing what you're doing.

some1 said to me about just putting my hair back in a ponytail(loose)and cutting it like that!.Bit mad if you ask me, i'm gonna go for it anyway

I cut my own hair every couple of days. Well, i shave it, but its really easy...

I usually cut mine with a disposable razor since its quite short. I just lift up the bit needed and run the razor gently down it to take a bit of length off and thin it out. Just be very careful to start with as its easy to give yourself a wee bald spot if you are too heavy handed! a slightly blunt razor is better to start with!

it usually looks pretty good...and no one has ever said anything like 'did you cut that yourself?' in dubious tones. in fact they seem impressed when i mention it!
