Hi hairstylists. I dont know if my problem is similar to hyde's but I do hope you can give me some advice.
I'm 48 and for some time have been dyeing my hair a chestnut brown (its bob length) but I'm sick and tired of the grey roots coming through so quickly that I think my only option (other than going grey which I'd hate) is to lighten my hair to a mousey colour and have highlights so that the roots arent so obvious so soon.
What do you think?
Thanks so much Elaine x
hiya i think thats a good idea. i think for now just have loads of thin highlights going throughout your hair so it gives you a light base and then you can put the light brown over the top. other wise it might not take to the darker brown. it will just make the roots lighter then the rest of the hair.
Hiya butterfly. Thanks very much for that. Its awful getting older and trying frantically to stay looking younger ! It feels like that old thing of running up the down escalator !
Will see my hairdresser for fine highlights and take it from there.
Thanks again x x
