Curling straight hair - recommendations please
3 Answers
I have dead straight hair, which I usually blow dry to give it a bit of body. I was thinking of buying some electric rollers or a curling iron of some kind, but want to minimise damage to my hair. Any advice on what I should buy that would give me some curl but not ruin my hair? Also if anyone can recommend some protective products to use on the hair when styling it would be doubly appreciated. Thanks everyone.

The absoloute best way to curl straight hair is with GHD'd or other ceramic straighteners. Ceramic ones dont do any damage to your hair, other than obviously heat damage but hey, you blow dry so its the same!!
Dry your hair and then take it into segments (large for bigger curls, small for tighter curls, or a mixture for a 'messy' look) and then run the GHD's from the top to the bottom of the segment, holding them amonst vertically turning slowly as you go.
Practice for a while as it gets a lot easier over time.
I do my hair this way almost every day and now it only takes me 5 minutes!
