Yes I have had them, not in a while though as I either get my bikini line waxed or use hair removing cream. They are nasty and uncomfortable so I would advise not to shave and seek an alternative method.
lots of exfoliation... the hair gets trapped under the dead skin whilst it is trying to push back through. If you can bear it, a body brush should help.
easy.... use a loofa each day on the skin you shave, and the skin you don't, to allow the hairs to break through easily and it keeps your skin fabulously smooth - i've done this for over 15 years and have fab skin :o))

An exfoliating scrub or the scrub gloves you can buy at the Body Shop will help prevent them. I used to use Tendskin (v good but v expensive) and now use a homemade version that works just as well - just disolve uncoated asprin tablets in witch hazel and apply and good coating of it after hair removal. It helps stop infection and the salicylic acid in the asprin (which is also in Tendskin) is anti-inflammatory and helps to remove the dead skin on the surface. Asprin is also great as an anti-dandruff treatment for the same reasons - just crush a tablet up and add it to your shampoo. Works a treat!
